Gizer is a small planet on the Perlemian Trade Route (grid coordinates P8). Although human settlers did arrive on Gizer during the Old Republic era, the planet has avoided major development and the majority of its inhabitants live in nomadic chiefdoms, through which they herd livestock and implement basic agricultural practices for sustenance. Despite this, there are a number of small settlements, which are are built around communication centres that connect the planet to the rest of the galaxy and serve as primitive spaceports for sporadic interplanetary travellers.

Inhabitants

While Gizer's population are organised into nomadic societies, they are not without technology, and basic blasters are utilised for self-defence and hunting, and droid components are repurposed for computing equipment, enabling these societies to maintain communication with the planets main population centres. The nomadic societies are chiefdoms, with either democratic or monarchical governance structures, represented generally by a single chief or ruling family. They maintain and conserve the planet's vibrant ecosystem, while still exercising agricultural practices.
