Somewhere on the edge of the Sleheyron system...
Amus woke up with a start. His head was ringing from a screaming headache, and a sore neck. The light was blinding. He felt like he had been trampled by a stampede of Banthas. His first reaction was to reach for his blaster, but it wasn't there. Neither was his goggles or any of his equipment. Although pain was shooting through his head and body, it was anger that overwhelmed him. Whoever did this to him, he thought… Amus would get his revenge!
Amus fought to stand up. He was not on Borgo Prime anymore. He was on a ship. An old smelly wreck - a freighter of sorts. Amus squinted. Without his goggles he’d struggle to see anything but a blur. He slowly reached for the bulkhead. The hum from the ship had a distant ringing, and a deep rumble. This ship had to be a very old bulk freighter. Likely a Corellian design.
Amus’ vision was slowly returning. Enough to see through the window on the port side of the starship. The freighter was drifting through space. He couldn’t see the stars, but there were structures. Maybe part of a station or wreckage.
Amus looked around. Some cargo, a stretcher he had laid on, and a crate with a cup filled with transparent liquid of some sort. Amus smelled the liquid. It was odorless. Whoever stowed him away here, had gone through the trouble of making him a bed, and serving something to drink when he woke up. Amus took a sip and frowned. “Errr!” Some kind of homebrewn choop. He sat the cup back down.
The silent hum was broken by a loud mechanic CLUNK! The door at the bow side of the corridor hissed open, and the silhouette of a man, holding a blaster, appeared. “Ah good, you’re awake. I wondered if those old bacta patches were any good.”
The voice sounded familiar. Amus shielded his eyes against the light. “Who do I thank for the drink?”
The man reached for the panel at the door. “You were in bad shape when I got to you on Borgo, but you can thank me for that later.”
The door closed with a loud CLUNK! and the man stepped into the light.
“Bannon!?” Amus struggled to concentrate. He was still at this man’s mercy, so listening seemed like the wise choice.
Although his voice sounded friendly, Bannon’s face was serious, and marked by many sleepless months. “I’m sorry about the light. I was unable to find your specs.” He paused and looked down, shaking the hand not holding the blaster. He looked back up at Amus and continued. “Look! I need your help…” Bannon paused again and took a deep breath.
“I need you to get me into the Maw Installation brother!”

One thing is to make a good moc that presents well, and maybe you get a good angle for an immersive scene, but building for that one shot is a lot of work. I am happy with the payout though! 🙂
So finally Bannon and Amus stories converge. I've been toying with the idea of them being brothers for some time, and in this story it seemed like the only leverage Bannon could have/get. Also I intended for the two to come up with the plan for their next step, while also explaining why Bannon chose the Sleheyron system, but that will have to wait until the next moc. 😉
I hope you like it.
Below are a few more shots.
The build is a bit modular, with the whole side sliding out.
A closer look at the sliding door.
The roof parts.
The moc without the detachable roof.
A better look at the exterior.
The full moc, with outer wall, and roof.
Another end shot.
I imagine the light in the corridor could be an alarm/claxon, but I didn't need another disturbing element for the story.
The idea of shooting through the window, to see inside the corridor, and get a feeling for the space on the other side, was better in my head ':P
Another good shot.
Thanks for watching!

Amazing build. Very climactic and the modularity allows for an even better immersion. Love it.
I love this! Definitely one of your best scenes so far! I like how you have the option to remove the wall and open the door, it makes it more like a detailed play set as well as the main scene.
