An Unexpected Occasion [Good Vibes LTC]

The Admirals’ Lounge was the premier destination for Imperial officers looking to relax and have a good time at Bilbringi. Located aboard one of several orbital space stations, it provided an excellent view of the shipyards and the planet, if you were lucky enough to reserve a table close to the windows, that is. While not nearly that fortunate, Elija Rath was still enjoying himself nonetheless; he had recently been recalled to Bilbringi for something quite surprising. He was being reinstated as an admiral within the Imperial Starfleet, a post he had briefly held due to the power vacuum caused by the Battle of Endor. Not only was he an admiral again, but rumor had it he would be receiving one of the newest flagships, something far stronger than a mere Imperator class.

The ceremony was short, and immediately afterwards Elija invited some of his friends and acquaintances to celebrate with him. Among them were Rear Admiral Lumiya Myn, Senior Captain Rensai Erris, and his old academy friend, Captain Don Randar. After a few drinks, Don began an argument with Elija over whether the Army or Stormtrooper Corps was better than the navy, Myn accidently said too much about a secret project in the Koornacht Cluster, and Rensai tried his best to convince Don and Elija that they were both wrong and CompForce was actually the strongest. Altogether, it was a good night.
