[Battlepack LTC] Gears and Gyros, Clicking and Whirring...

  After the Clone Wars, the soldiers on both sides were forgotten. Many of the Republic troopers were left in poverty, and the droids became even more disposable. Many were used for manual labour until their joints creaked and their batteries could no longer hold a charge, but a movement had begun to sweep through the gutters and alleyways of the galaxy... a movement for droid rights. As the droids aged, and became more sentient, they began to see that there were better things for their kind than to be dumped in some forgotten scrapyard... or worse, to find a semblance of immortality in the living death of Raxus Prime. So, for once, these droids began to fight for their mechanical brothers, standing up to those who oppressed them unjustly, and bringing freedom to droids who had known only pain from their masters. And, with the rise of the Crimpire on Castell, a band of these dejected war-veterans stood up to this new threat, remembering the Empire that had treated their kind so coldly... But now, this band of soldiers -- this band of friends -- would show these dark meatbags fire. Today, they were determined to prove, both to these invaders and the world they were protecting, just how alive they really were.
