Cruising on ORD Ibanna

"Gas mining is no way to earn a cred. No one should have to live like this," muttered Adar. Even through his rebreather, the bounty hunter could smell the stench of Ord Ibanna's gas fields. No one answered Adar, of course. The previous owner of the skiff he was in was probably still falling through the gas giant's many layers. Or perhaps his body would have been crushed by the pressure by now...

Adar didn't give it a second thought. He had 'borrowed' the gas mining skiff to get to one of the planet's derelict mining floats without raising any suspicion. His target - a bounty offered by the Czerka Corporation - was meant to be in hiding on the platform. While the skiff was slow, it was a better option than flying straight to the platform in his fighter, provided the rusting bucket made it.

That wasn't a given thing. Adar was in a tiny one-being craft suspended below three giant balloons. Two were used for buoyancy while one stored the precious tibanna gas that could be siphoned from the clouds. The balloons were mismatched with several large patches appearing to hold them together. 

"Two more hours, girl, you can hold together that long," said Adar rubbing his rebreather in a mix of a superstition and discomfort.
