"Everything has gone pretty well so far, Rath," Captain Don Randar, commander of Archer Company, informed Elija Rath. "We haven't gone into the caves yet, but we have complete control of nearly the entire surface."

"That's good to hear."

"Honestly, the biggest problem has been the mud. It's a good thing we're using repulsorlift tanks; I doubt anything else could traverse this disease ridden jungle," Captain Randar chuckled, being abruptly cut off by a ping from the unit's hypercom array. "I wonder what that could be?"

"I'll take it," said Captain Rath. He moved several holomaps out of the way, and played the message.

"This is High Admiral Bekaris. Captain Rath, Sergeant Mynno, report to the VCB Citadel for briefing. Do not delay, this requires your immediate presence. Captain Randar, I trust you can complete the mission. Do not disappoint me," with that the message faded, leaving the two captains and the sergeant alone once again.

Finally, Randar spoke, "I suppose you two should leave."

"Indeed we should," Sergeant Mynno replied.

"See you around, kid," Rath said as he walked off.
