Ruusan - Chapter I: In the Footsteps of Jedi
Excerpt from Col. Augis log: I did not feel like my job on Ossus was done. The mission had been a success, and my request to extend my stay, to study some of the ancient texts, had been granted. We had uncovered so much information over the last few months. I still don’t understand why the Jedi would leave a place of knowledge and history, to simply be forgotten.
All finds related to file J3-I G8 had been sent to the Maw Installation for analysis. They must have uncovered something, because my new orders are to relocate to Ruusan, and pick up work from a dead Society agent. I haven't been able to reach Lord Amus. I will continue the work without him. I’ve been granted further access to the J3-I G8 file, and I must say I’m intrigued. Ruusan is hiding something.
An Imperial Remnant patrol on Ruusan
Ruusan was beautiful and lush compared to the arid and windswept Ossus. A pleasant change of scenery, but she couldn't help it hoping, that the planet would hold just half the mysterious wonders that Ossus did... First things first! She needed to establish a new base of opperation, and most importantly find what her superiors were looking for.
Colonel Augis forced her gaze away from the horizon, and walked around the massive tread tank. The captain was waiting for her orders.
"Captain!"
"Yes ma'am"
The GAV trooper straightened his back, facing her, as she continued;
"We're looking for canyons, valleys, and caves with anything resembling pre-republic ruins or old structures. Two squads have already been dispatched south and east. I want you to cover the Alavaz Flatlands, all the way to the northern coast. Report back as soon as you find anything."
The trooper saluted her and yelled;
"Right away Ma'am!"
The Society loyal Imperial Remnant have gotten their hands on a few dusin tread tanks.

I think I'm getting a soft spot for vehicles. This one was particularly fun and challenging, because I wanted to do a rendition close to the artwork made by Stephen Zavala

I'm really happy with the result, but had hoped I could have done the wheel caps more justice. Those small details are really hard to get right, within the limitations of lego.
Below are a few detailed behind the scenes shots.
