ISB interrogation on Kuat

The Imperial Security Bureau agent walked into the environment research facility, his eyes scanning the checkpoint as he made his way towards the vice president of the facility he had come to speak with. The leader, a middle-aged man with a stern expression, looked up as the agent approached him.

"Agent Rush, Imperial Security Bureau," he introduced himself. "I'm here to inquire about your facility's research on the planet's ecosystem."

The vice president greeted him politely, though his eyes betrayed a hint of suspicion. "Of course, sir. How can I assist you?"

"I've been sent to evaluate your research on the local flora and fauna and assess its potential impact on the Imperial economy," the agent said. "I require full access to your facility and all relevant data."

The vice president hesitated, his eyes narrowing as he assessed the agent's request. "I'm afraid our research is highly confidential and sensitive, sir. It would be inappropriate to disclose it to an outsider."

The agent raised an eyebrow, sensing that the vice president was hiding something. "I assure you, your facility's cooperation is required to ensure the success of the Imperial economy."

The vice president hesitated, his eyes flickering as he weighed his options. "I understand your concerns, sir, but I must protect the secrets of our facility. We have made significant discoveries that must remain private."

"I will not tolerate insubordination or hindrance in my duties. Your failure to comply will result in severe consequences."

The vice president stiffened, his eyes flashing with defiance. "I refuse to disclose our research to the Empire. It is too important to be exploited for profit or power."

"You leave me no choice. I will have to take the data by force if necessary“, the agent glared at him in a menacing tone

As the tension rose, the vice president firm, unwilling to sacrifice his principles for the sake of the Empire's gain. The interrogation ended in a stalemate, with the agent leaving empty-handed and the leader resolved to protect his facility's secrets at all costs.
