[Solved] Llanic | House by the Coast

Sure, Llanic had its smuggler ports and its floating gas mining rigs blotting out the horizon, but it had something else, too: semi-affordable beachside properties! Semi-affordable if you're willing to stretch the definition of legal, anyway, but Eerva Beonte had never cared much for obstacles. She took the fishmonger game to a whole new level - if she had to do a few oddjobs on the side to make it happen, it was worth it. Besides, anytime she stepped out onto her little scrap of sandy beach, the misgivings floated away in the tide.

She blinked open her eyes, squinting into the sunset over the edge of the sea.

Suddenly, she saw something that ruined the moment entirely.

"What the hallock?"

There, far above, one of the dozens of mining rigs was drifting outside of its grid. They weren't allowed to come anywhere near the city - the zoning committee would have their heads. And yet this one was definitely coming towards the shore. 
She saw an explosion, then another, rip apart vast sections of its engines. That thing was coming down.
She startled and flinched as a bit of metal plopped into the surf just a few feet away.
The flames were beginning to engulf the engines on the rig above. It was getting bigger and bigger in the sky. There was no doubt about it. It was coming straight towards the shoreline. Straight towards her. And her house.

"I JUST GOT THIS HOUSE!" she shouted, at no one. "I deserve a break! I do! I work hard! And I don't even break that many laws! Not for Llanic, anyway! Low standards or not, I'm a good person! ARGH!" She kicked the sand, took one more look up, then jumped to action. She had to get everything valuable and book it to a safe distance. 

Whoever was responsible for this was going to pay.
