[Solved] (NJO) (Lyra) Lesson: Combat

Initiates piled  through to the courtyard after breakfast. The stone cobbles cold with the morning fog. Master Jun, the combat instructor, stood waiting in the middle of the yard. He was missing from the dining hall during breakfast, He had been setting up a duelling session in the back corner of the yard.

“Pair up.” He stated

Lyra looked around frantically, knowing that she hadn’t made many friends yet and that her arrogance during training had worsened her chances of making any. 

“Hello?” A treeboy asked beside her, introducing himself. “I’m Jamidua Kinlon” he said, his hands trembling. Shyness? “Want to be partners?”

Lyra laughed under her breath and replied “Hi yourself, I’m Lyra.” 

Jun ordered the pairs over to the far corner of the yard and passed training sabers to them.

They stood beside a door near the back of the group and began to duel each other. Clash. Bang. Clash. Sticks slammed swiftly sliding past as Lyra jumped into the air gracefully and disarmed Jamidua Kinlon, making his saber go flying into a nearby .

“How did you do that?” Jamidua said smiling on the floor 

Lyra helped him up and simply replied “long story.”
