In the shadows of towering skyscrapers and among the sprawling slums of the planet Bonadan, lived an old peasant man named Jax. His weathered face and calloused hands spoke volumes of a life lived in hardship. Bonadan, once a thriving industrial world, had fallen victim to the ravages of the Empire’s relentless strip mining operations.
Jax had spent his entire existence in the slums, witnessing the gradual decline of his home. Once, lush landscapes and vibrant communities flourished on Bonadan, but now only dust and despair remained. The Empire had pillaged the planet's resources, leaving behind scars on the land and deep wounds in the hearts of its people.
Amidst the ruins, Jax had created a humble dwelling for himself, consisting of repurposed metal and scavenged remnants. Inside his makeshift home, the flickering glow of a small, worn-out holo-vid projector provided a faint sense of comfort. He would sit in his chair in the kitchen, letting his mind wander.
As the memories of happier times flooded his thoughts, Jax reminisced about the sounds of laughter that once filled the air, the bustling marketplaces, and the lively conversations in the streets. It seemed like a distant dream, lost to the relentless grip of the Empire's greed.
Jax's days were now spent scrounging for scraps, trading meager goods, and sharing stories with the other inhabitants of the slums. They had formed a tight-knit community, bound by their collective struggle and their shared longing for a better life.
With each passing day, Jax felt the weight of time pressing upon him. His body was weary, and his steps became slower, but his spirit remained unyielding. He had refused to be silenced by the Empire's oppression, determined to preserve the remnants of Bonadan's vibrant culture.
Jax's daily routine was punctuated by moments of reflection. As he gazed out into the distance, where smoke billowed from the distant factories, he wondered if there was a chance for redemption. He yearned for a day when the scars on Bonadan's land would heal, and its people could once again thrive.
I know, another kitchen. This one is based on the kitchen in The Phantom Menace. Its not as nice as the others because it is not as nice a kitchen. There's a reference photo below and your welcome to look at more if you want - its as close as I can get to screen accurate but its definitely just a less nice kitchen to translate into lego. Feedback is welcome
Hehe, Jax reminds me of the hermit from Ewoks 2. Well done!
