Lieutenant Skabah's narrative:
'We had been waiting for the Empire to be reborn. For it to emerge from the shadows once more. I had been one of many who had watched its collapse in disbelief. I had watched the Galaxy descend into chaos. I had watched the New Order which I was sworn to protect crumble. Those of us left had to flee or else be subjected to New Republic "re-education" and the humiliation of defeat.
And so we retreated, biding our time in the darkest corners of the Galaxy waiting for a sign, a successor, something new to believe in, someone new to follow. We knew it would happen, the rebellion had stood against order and stability, there was no way now that the New Republic could impose it and yet deep down it was what the Galaxy wanted. An Empire was an inevitability, the New Republic was simply an anomaly on the path towards a centralised and stable Galactic authority. They could stall all they liked but an Empire would rise once more an when it did its rule would be eternal.
It was with the Crim Empire that I found that. It was not some rogue Imperial warlord or a pretender to the late Emperor's throne, this was the beginning of a new era of Galactic power. And so as disparate groups of Imperial veterans began to coalesce around this new power, I found myself once more in the employ of an Empire.'
'My first mission was on Saleucami. A series of Imperial bunker complex's on the planet had been used as data centres by the old ISB, they had contained information about Imperial informants in the Rebellion. Crim Empire intelligence believed that the facilities were yet to be processed by the New Republic and that any data that could be collected might aid the rise of our new Empire. Certainly we needed to ensure the information did not end up in the wrong hands.
And so that was how I found myself trekking through the wilderness of Saleucami, it marked not only the beginning of my service to the Crim Empire, but also I hoped a new beginning for the Galaxy, a new era of stability and security...'
First time back building in a little while, but some new techniques and a new character as well...
That story is so cool
Love the story, the characters and damn that build is just so good, i really enjoy the various techniques you just used!
Member of the New Jedi Order
Wow, great story to match the excellent build! I particularly love that round tower.
Love love love! Great shaping on the building and the rockwork, and the whole model looks very lush. The "in the employ of an empire" is very clever, like that very much.
