Location: Grid Square K20, Polis Massa Space
Names: Aurelious, Unknown Inquisitor.
Species: Human
Faction: Mando'ade
The blast doors hissed open and Aurelious stepped inside.
A voice came surrounded him like a fog: "I knew you would come."
He took a few strides into the room and ignited his electrostaff, as the air thickened.
The voice returned, beckoning him further into the room: "You are not a true Mandalorian. Your clan will die..."
He tapped into the invisible barrier that connected all living things, and felt for a presence.
Before he found it, an orange blade appeared and struck his jetpack, sending him to the cold floor of the bridge.
Aurelious dropped to the ground and rolled, before meeting the blade's furious strikes. He was no match for this kind of power.
The Inquisitor leapt above him and ignited a second blade, commencing the duel.
Aurelious let out a fury of glancing blows, hoping to find a chink in her technique, but there was none. She fought back with heavy brutal strikes, swinging with the weight of the dark side.
He leapt back and paused to take a breath. The Inquisitor spat, "You are an excuse for a Mandalorian! Do you think this is a challenge to my skills? If I wanted to, I could've ended this already!"
She leapt over to Aurelious and slammed her blade into his staff, locking the two blades together. He struggled to stay standing, but held his ground. His clan depended on him.
Aurelious let an ambitious swing out, and was punished. The Inquisitor hit him in the face with the hilt of her blade and unleashed a barrage of force lightning, shocking and rendering him motionless.
She paced over to him and pointed her saber to his face. "And now, you die."
The Inquisitor raised her blade in fury, and brought it down with force, pressing into the electrostaff. Aurelious knew he had to get up, to finish what he had started, or it would cost his clan greatly.
He summoned all of his strength from within, and pushed the blade with an invisible hand, slowly edging it towards it's owner.
She struggled to keep a hold of her sabre, and was finally forced do let go - sending the blade into the air. Time stood still.
The hilt of the Lightsaber gracefully clattered to the floor, before being tugged backwards towards the pair. Neither one bested the other, with their force powers matched in a tug-of-war. Aurelious knew what he had to do.
He let go, sending the hilt careening for the inquisitor's head, knocking her over. He reached out for the hilt - it glided to him, his hand closing around it.
An orange glow filled the room.
Thirty Minutes Earlier...
An Imperial Crewmember walks into the bridge, and salutes the Moff.
Imperial Crewmember (Ensign Thatcher): "Sir, your shuttle is on standby. It has been restocked and a small party of troopers has been added to your normal guard, as requested."
The Moff: "Very good, tell them to ready the engines, I am coming."
