They didn’t think the B’omarr Monastery would have any occupants after it was damaged during the Battle of Teth. They knew it was a point of interest for the treasure hunters, but they thought that if they chose one of the far towers to sneak into, they could get in unseen. Catch whoever was already looking off guard.
What they didn’t expect was to be met with a laser turret poking out of the ruined walls of the monastery, ready and eager to open fire. In response, they had deployed some ground troops, maybe they could’ve gotten into the tower and disabled the defenses from within.
But their own ground troops were met with an opposing force. Pirates. It was pirates who had taken up refuge in the monastery. The pirates had set up defenses along the perimeter and were eager to defend the treasure that everyone believed was hidden within.

He let two shots rip out of his bowcaster, the recoil from the shots pushing his small body to cover. After a moment he stuck his head out, taking a peak to see if the shots hit anything.
FWOOOOOOOM
The shot from the laser turret flew by his head, narrowly missing him.
“T’Bolk!? You good back there?” The voice of the pilot spoke to him through his gear.
“I’m fine.” He squeaked back in a clipped, nasally voice. With a growl he set the bowcaster to his shoulder, no longer aiming for the turret, but for the lackey who had put himself out in the open. The foolish pirate was swinging off the side of the monastery’s tower, hoping to surprise one of T’Bolk’s comrades on the ground.
Letting his bowcaster fire, T’Bolk stumbled back from the recoil, not able to see if his shot hit or not.
From his position, T’Bolk stopped to ponder. Was this worth it? He hated putting his life on the line, especially for a treasure that wasn’t even guaranteed. As blaster fire picked up once again, T’Bolk hoisted his bowcaster once more, preparing to fire.
SpoilerMore PhotosI had a vision for this build from the beginning, but the end product didn't match that vision. But, I don't think it's bad. I actually quite like how it turned out, but I do believe it was a good learning experience and the next time I do something like this, it'll be better!
