"Run! It's chasing me!"

“You’d think there’d be better places to hide treasure than in a river.”

“I’m not even in here looking for the treasure, the water just feels better than the air!”

Onboard the skiff, a Zabrak stood behind the console, looking intently at the screen in front of her. Her other companion, a Devaronian, hung his legs off the side of the skiff, looking down into the murky depths of the river.
“I’d come join you, but the water ‘don exactly look too appealing.” The Devaronian pulled his legs up against his chest, deciding not to take a dip for now.

“Well, I’m used to it! On my home planet our rivers were filled with all sorts of creatures, but as long as you left ‘em alone, they left you alone.” The Togruta wading through the water responded easily. Their Zabrak companion smoothly slid into the conversation.

“Belk’s scans have revealed that the area we’re looking for is most likely deeper in the jungle. There haven’t been any new reports in a couple minutes, so I assume he’s on his way back to us now with some more information. From what I can see here, he’s got a few points of interest for us to check out.” Her tone was even and smooth.

“What? You sure the treasure ain’t hidden down here? I’d love to spend my time in the water, it beats the heat!”

She responded with a slight scoff, “Just get out and dry off a bit, we’re gonna prepare to head into the jungle.”

As if on cue, Belk burst out of the shrubbery, running, sweating and panting. Before any of the other crew members got a chance to open their mouths, Belk let out a yell.
“Run! Back it up!”

His reason for the yell soon burst out of the bushes as well, it was a Reek. A small Reek, maybe a youngling, but still a Reek. It was chasing after Belk, who had probably encroached on its territory.

“Help meeee!” Belk yelled out as he reached the water’s edge. He jumped from the riverbank to the skiff, barely managing to gain a hold.

Once Belk was secure on the skiff, it was swiftly swung around and moved towards the center of the river, where it hovered idly. The Reek had slid to a stop along the river’s edge, it didn’t follow them into the water.

The Devaronian let out a laugh. “You wermo, that thing almost ran you through!”

Belk glared at the horned man. “You’re laughing? I almost died out there, Grev! And you’re laughing?”

Their Zabrak companion interrupted them. “Get up, both of you. Zashor’s not in the river anymore.”
The Devaronian, Grev, got up and looked back to where their Togruta companion was just wading.
“The kriff? Where could that yellow-bellied sleemo have gone? ZASH! ZASH!” He yelled out

There was no response.

“Belk, use the scanning equipment to look for Zashor.” The Zabrak’s voice now held a commanding tone, her position as captain clear.

“I-I’m sorry Usi, I dropped the scanning equipment when the Reek charged me.”

“You fool. You’re lucky that your usefulness outweighs your foolishness. Zashor can’t have gone far. We’ll look for him first. Let the Reek return to its territory.”
Her companions met her command with sullen nods.

This was probably my favorite build out of all my Episode builds. I love the colors, the characters, and am really happy with how the Reek turned out!
