Greetings, soon to be compatriot. 

The Force is a majestic thing, is it not? A mystical presence. One that is interwoven in both good and evil. It winds its eternal way around all life. The person and the beast. The civilian and the soldier. 

Through our fleeting perspectives, we may never grasp the goliath, of which is the Force and its mysteries. However, within this document you shall find that we have made strides in expanding its definition. What is "living," if not a creation given life? I ask this to you, dear friend, because we would like to introduce you to new life from the production line.

We see droids as victims. Toys for the unworthy, made for consumable infantry, never given the blessing of bonds. I tell you, friend, that the bias and rhetoric of the Empire's galaxy perpetuates these myths, I assure. Made enemies of life, a convenient enemy that could be forced to be the villain.

I assure you, friend, that these rumors are baseless. Droids are life that we design, they are given will by the Force over time, and they are given purpose. Individuality, freedom, will. I guarantee it, dear friend. Thus, I would express a proposition. 

We are the Coalition of Liberated Arms. You may not have heard of us, but we have heard of you. The struggle against tyranny. The countless raids to your possessions. Your people, crying out in fear, begging for safety in this vast, violent galaxy.

We understand these struggles, for we have faced them in equal measure.

The solution, my friend, is forged from metal and wire.
