~[Captain Teach-misson report./codename: clean up]~

*CHRRRRRRP* "This is Captain Teach speaking. This is my debrief of operation Clean Up. It was a hot and sunny day. We departed from the Glom-Tho facility at 05:00, planing to catch the pirates before they woke. We were wrong. An unidentified traitor had tipped them off about our plan, so they where ready for us. Or as ready as they could be. Some of their forces where apprehended during their last attack on our factories. Mainly grunts and guns for hire, but this turned out the have been a mistake.

When we started the attack me and my squad was put together with a squad of stormtroopers. Said to be the best of the best. There was also three death troopers present. One leading another squad of stormtroopers, and the other two where escorting the flame-trooper through the battlefield. When the charge started we where supported buy two At-Dp's and air support in form of Raudr squadron.

The "Golden Claw Pirates" ridiculous name. They had set their home base in an abandoned republic base situated in the middle of the Glom-Tho forest. The marsh around their hideout wasn't much of a problem due to higher than usual temperatures, than had dried them smaller. And the wildlife had been scared far away by the sound of the Tie fighters. Still got a snake in my boot, but quickly discarded of it. There where two snipers in the peak of some kind of ancient ruin. They managed to take out a few of our troops before they where taken out by the flame-trooper. But the thing we had not accounted for was that they would replace their missing guns so quickly.

That darn Pirate, Ruto, had hired himself maybe 8 IG units. And reports about unknown pirates robbing a museum transport craft where true. They had 3 droids made before even the Old republic, and one that towered over everyone else. Holding a stolen ESB-Cannon and fired into us with no remorse. Same with the protocol droid they had situated on a giant cannon on the mountan wall besides the main gate.

We where being torn to pieces out there. But after a few perfectly placed EMPs buy our mortar-trooper, most of the droids where out of the game. My squadron was almost entirely depleted buy the time were reinforced with a charge of speeder bikes. We overwhelmed them with shear force the typical imperial way. At the end they got dwindled down to only a mere dozen pirates before they surrendered. We captured and imprisoned the remaining few, including Pirate Lord Ruto and his second in command. They should be on a transport back to Kalarba as you get this message.

At the end this was the casualties:

Army squad: 12/14 deceased

Stormtrooper squads: 15/28 deceased

Death troopers: 0/3 deceased

Flame-trooper: 0/1 deceased

Mortar-trooper: 0/1 deceased

Speeder bikes: 4/12 destroyed

At-Dp: 1/2 destroyed

Raudr squadron Tie's: 3/11 destroyed

This mission was a part of the greater eradication of the pirates in the system. And with this missions success the trace of the pirates have finally been wiped from Glom-Tho.

Even if it came at a heavy cost in lives. I will mourn them, as you never do." *CHRRRRRRP*

About the build:

It is 2x5 of the 48x48 base plates. It is like 99% moc with the imp speeders and the panels on the AT-DP head mostly. The rest should be moc. It was a little rushed as this had to be finished to a convention(4.5 months), because that's the only place I'm able to display it cause it's size. The base gate works and can close and open. And the elevator inside the base also works. Video can be provided. Maybe.

About the text:

Had to write this on my phone and so I apologize any difficulty reading this.

And why it's so short. Woulda loved to make it longer and more detailed but it feels impossible without my laptop.

Impressive scale, with some nice ships/vehicles. I would encourage you to try to do smaller mocs, where you pay more attention to detail, and practice more advanced techniques. To me that is more impressive than scale. 🙂 Great work!
