On the edges of Wild Space, the planet of BATUU has long stood as a stopping place for explorers, traders, and pilgrims. After suffering years of Imperial occupation, at last the citizens have thrown off the last warlord and have achieved independence. Although the officially elected government is located at Black Spire, a growing movement, known as the Followers of the Force, is spreading outward from the small city of TABANNAS. There, immigrants, pilgrims, migrants, explorers, tradespersons, and many more mingle and work together to form a free and peaceful place to live.
