{Episode II - M10 - Kuat - NR3F] Securing the surface

While ships and starfighters of the New Republic Third Fleet begun engaging the Central Authority in the space above Kuat, and Pathfinders begun to secure the planet's orbital dockyard, infantry units have begun to infiltrate the surface.

{{ Section D disembarked our cruiser at 14.00 Galactic Standard Time, just before dawn local time. Our U-Wings touched down at mustering point 6 on the southern hemisphere of Kuat. No resistance from Central Authoirty troops or local defence forces was encountered, although several abandoned enemy repulsorlifts were discovered as we neared the settlement of Quorche, two clicks from the mustering. The settlement was secured with no casualties, and no damage to civilian infrastructure at 15.10. Cmdr Aldrynch made a report to headquarters informing them of our success. In order to meet the days objectives, we next had to secure the forest around Quorche, and meet up with the Naval Infantry advancing from the next mustering point. Using our MTv-9s, and with air support, our section led the vanguard into the forest. Surveillance droids detected sentient life-movements along our path, but again, no resistance was encountered. The objective point was reached at 16.30 GST. Glory to the New Republic and May the Force be with Us!}}
