Uscru - Behind Club Orb

As Black Sun tightened its grip on the Coruscant underworld, their enforcers began partnering with small-time gangs like the Twin Twi’lek crew to push narcotics and expand their influence. Carm never thought he’d work with the New Republic, but when his old naval commander reached out with a chance to wipe away his stained record, he couldn’t ignore it.
Carm had heard of the Twin Twi’leks before - the slythmongers were as famous for using their own supply as they were for moving it through the planet-city. Black Sun had found themselves a partnership as volatile as their reputation. If the Republic wanted them stopped mid-deal, it would have to be under the neon glare and pulsing bass of the Uscru District.
Anja didn’t usually come along on missions like this. She was more pilot than fighter, and her unshakable optimism had made Carm protective of her. But when she’d called it a “night on the town,” and reminded him they probably wouldn’t find anything anyway, he relented. She’d even picked out a new suit for him so he could blend in with the club crowd.
After a string of bars with nothing to show for it, Carm was ready to call it a night.
“Let’s try one more - at the very least, let’s grab a drink and have a bit of fun before we turn in,” Anja said, leading him toward a building marked Club Orb.
Inside, it was like every other club - flashing lights, pounding music, and a haze of synth-smoke - though sharing a drink with Anja in the quietest corner they could find made it bearable. As they walked down a side hallway toward the rear exit, Carm suddenly halted and pushed her against the wall. Just outside, a pair of Black Sun enforcers were meeting with the infamous Twi’lek pair. A case overflowing with death sticks sat between them.
“Report in, Carm.”
The warbling voice from his comlink made him flinch. Blast - I thought I turned that off.
Before he could react, a blaster bolt seared through the night.
“Out back of Club Orb - now!” Carm barked into the com.
As one of the enforcers approached the exit, Carm dove from cover and fired, his shot catching the thug square in the chest. More blaster fire erupted, and a fresh storm of flashing lights joined the cacophony of the Uscru District.
Normal and clear shot of the build 🙂

And bonus of the original version with Zam Wesell 🙂

Very nice! I like the use of lighting inside the building. The abundance of holo screens is also great.
I would like to see the puddle be a little more organic - you've got the depth for SNOT work, so maybe some cheese slopes and brackets would help it look less grid-like.
