[Episode V - NR][M10 - Sarapin - RM] The Vaapad

Second installment for the Gyndine Crisis, this time presenting a story beat from the Geyser Fields on Sarapin. I remember Sarapin from the Galactic Battlegrounds video game I enjoyed to play as a kid. Sarapin was one of the venues for some Clone Campaign missions. There were volcanoes and lava flows, of course, but for my Sarapin entries I was very much looking forward to take the idea further from the signature visuals of Mustafar and other lava worlds and explore other aspects of the biome - so the idea of ashfields and geyser plains came to life. The bubbling green pools were added quite late in the process, but I think they helped a lot to round up the mood. Here, no post-production was needed, as the shots were taken infront of a background image on my monitor. 

I had fun writing this scene from the Ashtrooper point of view and give them these a little bit cliché ignorant, arrogant and cruel Imperial characters, so that when the mysterious stranger wipes the floor with them, the satisfaction is even bigger.
