‘It wasn’t much, but it was home.’
That was the usual thought that flitted through Cayn’s mind as he walked into his little apartment he called home. Circumtore wasn’t exactly a comfortable or safe place, but Cayn believed that his apartment was.
The room wasn’t exactly clean, his projects and clothes and trash were all scattered around the room. But his job kept him too busy to keep the place clean.
As a mechanic on an artificial ringworld there was much to do – too much, in fact. But his work gave him a familiarity with the planet, an intimate knowledge of its ins and outs. It also gave him connections, his job didn’t allow him to discriminate with who he worked for or with.
Circumtore was directly connected to Hutt space and was thus a frequent stop for criminals and lowlifes. Cayn had seen his fair share of trouble, he was even employed by them. Smugglers with overloaded cargo bays, bounty hunters with damaged hyperdrives, even pirates whose ships were held together by hopes and dreams. It was a job, nothing personal, but these people were followed by danger, invited it in. But all that melted away when he retreated to the comfort of his room.

It fits in the 16x16!
Nice little entry - great door design, and a good balance of details and props. The table could maybe be something brick-built?
