Jani Pryce was finally home.
Her journey to Denon was long and arduous, especially with Imperial Remnant activity on the far edge of the Hydian Way. Travel was always hard for her, and needed plenty of preparation before and plenty of rest after.
Her Tiebassen apartment from her teenage years remained unchanged. Her cousin Jostoc must have kept it clean during the few times he crashed here for his apprenticeship with HSY.
He was also gracious enough to leave some food, drinks, and more importantly caf. Jani was grateful, she was too tired to stop at a shop and too tired to go back out for the essentials.
Β Jani slept through the next day. Her space-lag usually needs up to ten rotations to subside.
Even as a student, her cousin Jostoc must have a great salary from HSY, since he's left a Sanidel chair in her sleeping quarters. Jani has only sat in the original seats on HSY flight decks, but a more luxurious civilian version has been produced since.
Jani drank her caf two mornings later while sitting in the Sanidel. Centuulio Kava - grown and brewed in the remaining rainforests on Denon's southern hemisphere - was always her favourite caf, reminded her of home while she was out and about in the Galaxy.
Jani's first meeting was not a Denonian, but a talented pilot she met in the Virginian Free Alignment - Dragon Void Run winner Yasha Kami, a Zeltron involved with a top secret HSY project.
Well, not really a secret, since the controversial Snub-Zero development has been all over the holo-net, not for its innovations but because of its politics and setbacks.
Yasha has been staying in one of the villas surrounding the Liurnia Palace of the Var-Haelos planetary headquarters, but has been wanting her own place on Denon. Luckily, Jani was looking to sell her old apartment anyway, so they entered negotiations...

This apartment vignette started with the dining table module found in Eedy Karn's Coruscant apartment in Andor. It would make sense for this module to be found elsewhere in the galaxy, after all it's a piece of furniture that's probably mass-produced.
As much as I wanted to squeeze a full refresher on the second floor, I could only get half of it.Β
Given the size limitation of this LTC, the stairs unfortunately lead nowhere. My original idea to have a kitchenette under them was scrapped to make space for the wiring for the Light My Bricks 1.0 lights.
The rear view best demonstrates the complexity of this build.
Hol up, let him cook
So much immersive goodness! There's a lot going on color-wise, and I think the floor between levels could be more realistic, but thats details. π
