  It was a bright morning, not long before mid-day. The light bustle of speeders and pedestrians droned in the air. Even in the quieter regions of Denon, the city never fully sleeps, but here, near the edge of one of the designated green spaces, was about as close as it got. The buildings were shorter in this district, though the hill leading down into the park gave an illusion of great height from the promenade above. This district was mostly set aside for diplomatic housing, to place politicians or esteemed guests closer to the natural beauty of the world, which was delicately preserved.

  While Hayk was preparing to eat inside, the world outside was moving. Even on the outskirts, Hayk had a hard time finding words to describe how much busier Denon was than the small city on Celanon where he normally lived. While he missed the quiet of the place he called home, there was a thrill and excitement to visiting the city, especially Denon which boasted intricate architecture and light colours. With a bright blue start to the day, one would hardly believe that a cloud had ever crossed the sky, though there had been some rain a couple days ago.

It made for a pretty good home away from home, even though there was no sigh of the sea to ease one's mind, or stars to stare in wonder at at night.
