Welcome to the first installment of my new, greater story arc following up on the events of Flight of the Phoenix. After some back-and-forth, I decided to stay close to the - beloved - original cast and move on with their stories. Flame and Ashes introduces some new and some familiar threats, with the syndicate now much more visible and exposed to the big galactic factions.
The story takes on some time after the (global events of the) Black Sun attack on Coruscant and my related short story (Don't Call Me Toothpick).
In this Episode, Pria is accompained by Vic Wander - a character that has been introduced in the "post credit scene" of Flight of the Phoenix as the father of Gemma, Prias teenage daughter.
Trivia: Ward Len'ya was my lead character in the Eurobricks Mysteries game when I played for the "Light Side". Itook the opportunity to update the minifig with that lovely Splinter head. We may see Len'ya reoccur here and there, when Pria is forced into the spotlight of galacto-politics and dealing with the players behind...

Building the Yarith Bespin - upper Cloud City interior was fun! I enjoyed building something clean and less messy than I use to build for the gritty mining world scenes on Burnin Konn, or any Tatooine or underworld sceneries. Here I again tried to make every side of the build compelling, even though it might not play a role in the comic. My collection of differently aged white bricks is a curse and blessing, since it adds some creamy patterns and texture, but makes it difficult to create bright white walls and floors.
