This entry is twofold. I present you the R93 Refractor Gunship and attach the 30th episode of my comic Flight of the Phoenix!
The R93 first appeared in the Star Wars Outlaws DLC "A pirates fortune". I really liked the change of perspective in-game allowing the player to fly the Refractor. The different flight modes give it some appealing silhouette and function. Building it was quite a challenge. I started with the cockpit incorporating the new T47 canopy. That was the easy part. Making fully functional rotating wings and keep the fuselage sturdy was a bit tricky. It cost me some nerves, but in the end, I'm quite happy with the outcome.
Making the comic was intense too, with all the post-production needed to create coherent space battle scenes. I hope you enjoy story and visuals!

A little rough around the edges - a few brown and dark orange parts could really sell the rugged look, adding a rusty look to some parts, to really sell the rinky-dink of a ship 😉 Nice ship, and nice to see slight improvement with every ship you build. 🙂

Love the posability and movement found in the ship! The shaping is incredibly interesting and I'm always a sucker for these type of winged ships!
And as always, the story! Love how you brought in Blaze squadron, it's super cool to see a cameo of the ship and Vasher. Love that tie in! I'm also interested in the Scourge ships, they piqued my interest and I went straight to your flickr to look for 'em. Love your interpretation and they look great in the comic!
