[K20 - Terminus - AE] Revelations

Deep within Ashlon’s high-security prison on Terminus, the air was thick with the hum of machines and the sharp scent of industrial metal. This was Block Theta-9, an underground detention facility built to hold high-value prisoners, rebels, informants, and enemies of the state.

Stormtrooper TK-4489 marched a bound prisoner through the dim corridors, his blaster at the ready. The prisoner, a gaunt, shackled man in an orange jumpsuit, was escorted towards the command station where Commander Rylek, a hardened Ashlon officer, awaited.

This prisoner was no ordinary captive—he was Lieutenant Kordo Vess, a known terrorist responsible for multiple attacks on Ashlon supply lines. He was supposed to be executed, but at the last moment, intelligence officers discovered something that changed his fate: ties to operations on the Pilgrim moon. 

Kordo had been stationed on the moon, operating as an informant for insurgents opposing the Empire. If he survived the chaos of Jedha, he might know schematics of grid defences, locations of hidden caches of kyber crystals, old Imperial projects, or even where missing warlords from the grid had disappeared to. The Ashlon Empire needed that information.

As Kordo was dragged forward, Commander Rylek barely looked up from his console. The blue glow of the monitors reflected off his uniform as he analyzed incoming transmissions.

"You’re lucky, Kordo," Rylek said without emotion. "We usually don’t keep terrorists around for long. But you have something we want. Information on Jedha."

Kordo smirked, despite the bruises on his face. "And what makes you think I’ll talk?"

Rylek finally looked at him, his gaze cold. "Because we both know what happens if you don’t."

The hum of an interrogation droid powering up filled the chamber. The doors slid shut with a final clank. Outside, stormtroopers resumed their patrol, ensuring that no one, not even the most desperate criminals lurking in the shadows of Terminus, could get in or out.

The Ashlon Empire would have its answers. One way or another.
