Measuring in at 1,129 meters, the Interdictor Heavy Cruiser (IHC) Immobilizer is the pinnacle of Imperial ingenuity and engineering. Built in secret over Kuat away from the public eye, the Interdictor possesses four gravity well generators, rendering it capable of forcing ships out of hyperspace at will.

After the Empire fell at the final battle over Jakku, the Immobilizer fell into the hands of Magnus Orkzyd, an Imperial Intelligence officer bent on vengeance on the Rebels who destroyed that which he had dedicated his life to...

Now lets see what is going on inside...

Captain Janus was concerned. Colonel Orkzyd was not in his personal chambers as was usual of this time. It was particularly unfortunate at this moment, since they were now about to reach Entralla. He activated his comlink.

Private Mudson was enjoying his break. Lifting boxes all day was heavy after all, and it only made sense that he had his turn to rest.
A voice squawked in his ear.
"Do you know where the colonel is?"
Mudson touched the receiver on his microphone.
"Last I heard sir he was in the communications and targeting office."
"Thank you Private. Janus out."

Janus found his leader exactly where he was told.
"Sir, you are needed on the bridge. We are approaching Entralla."
As if on cue, the technician spoke up.
"Pentastar Command is hailing us sir. Shall I tell them you will meet with them shortly?"
"Yes." Orkzyd said calmly, turning around and starting down the stairs. "Follow me captain."

Two fighter pilots saluted the pair of officers as they passed. Orkzyd strode right by while Janus returned the salute.
"Almost a month of travel." He said, nervousness cracking in his voice. "I hope it was worth it sir."
"It will be." Orkzyd responded casually, stepping over the hangar threshold. "Pentastar is always looking for new members. Plus, we are riding in a great bargaining chip."

"Are the crates and cargo secure?" Janus asked as they entered the hangar, turning to face the laborer.
He fidgeted.
"As much as they can be. My men have checked them over at least a dozen times."
"Then what is that?" Janus asked sharply, pointing to a dent in the crate before them.

Orkzyd waved his hand.
"After a month of travel, things are sure to acquire wear and tear." He turned to the laborer. "Forgive him private."
Janus' mouth dropped open.
"This is the Empire sir! This must be in order."
Yet the comment seemed to fall on deaf ears as the door opened and the pair walked on.

"How are things around here?" Orkzyd asked, gesturing to the ship's generator. Janus knew it had been under severe stress during their long travels.
"As good as it can be all things considered sir." The technician said in a gruff voice. "Spare parts are out, but we are fine for the time being."

"Excellent!" The colonel said, pressing the elevator call. The technician activated the bridge, moving his gear.
Janus moved past, an expression of uncertainty forming on his face.
"It has been a pleasure and honor sir." He said, saluting with his electro-wrench.

The elevator let out into the command tower, and the two disembarked.
"You have probably been looking for me for a while." Orkzyd said, not breaking pace. "Are you hungry?"
Janus was dumbfounded.
"Sir, all things considered, we should rush to make contact with Entralla."
"That has waited for a month already." Orkzyd said, gesturing him forward. "I m sure they can wait twenty more minutes."

They strode to the cafeteria, passing by a display station. There on the table hovered the crystal blue model of the Immobilizer, nearing Entralla.
"I cannot wait to be back home." Janus said soberly.
"I cannot wait for you to be home." Orkzyd responded. "Everyone deserves some RnR after this whole thing, especially you."

When the two entered the cafeteria, the cook, a midshipman Kaiden, was hard at work.
"Blessed greetings sir." He said, struggling to fry the Mon Cala Cod he held. "What will it be today."
"Just the usual is fine midshipman." Orkzyd said, sitting down.
Janus stood, ready to go. He was hungry of course too, as the colonel had guessed, but there were more pressing matters at hand.

When the two finally reached the bridge, Janus almost exploded. How could his leader tarry so long? Surely the Pentastar Command would take note of his insolence in this.
"Sir we should have made contact a long time ago!" He said, throwing up his hands in the air. "This journey will all have been for not if-"

"Silence captain." Orkzyd said icely, turning his silver eyes on Janus. "All of this has been in the making for many months even before we began to travel here."
He smiled.
"Forgive me for my tone. Today begins a new era. One where the Alignment will rise from the ashes of the Empire claim it's place among the stars. I know it has been a long trip. Yet all will be well. Trust me."

"Yes sir." Janus said, seemingly assured.
Colonel Orkzyd turned to the bridge window, Entralla shining before him.
He spoke only once more, more to himself than anyone else.
"Yes, a new era of Order begins today. One where the Rebel Alliance shall finally be destroyed, and the Empire shall be reborn."

Apologies if the post is too long. There was a lot of content that needed to be fielded. If need be I can divide it up into separate posts next time. Nevertheless, it was a joy all to build, and I hope you like it!

This will be a great asset in the tool set of the ambitious Pentastar Alignment. And for sure it is a splendid model of a ship I particularly like. The sheer size of the model already deserves a compliment, but I also like how the size is used to give it a very neat arrowhead-like silhouette. The original would have a more sphere-shaped gravity-well projectors I think, but I still quite like your approach, introducing a bit of the red that most artworks have common around the dorsal ridge.

I think that's also why you included those consoles with red displays around the surface. Some might like the idea. I know others will argue about it 😉

The aft of the ship could have served more attention though. The engines just do not convince me. They are undersized imho, although I admit the interdictor's mission is not to pursue but to trap. I think there might be no canonical artwork of the back available, but the I would like them either bigger or a few more.

I like you really put an interior to the ship, making it a great playset for your kids!

Overall an ambitious project that is definitely a highlight in the Remnants fleets!

What more can be said about this build, so awesome! The scale is breathtaking, but I really love the details you've packed in, especially in the essence of play features, so neat.
