On the windswept moors of Dalastine, rusty skiffs collect stacks of peat cuttings. These blocks will be burned to dry the grain for Dalastinian whisky, known for its oily, smoky tones. This particular example, an old Ubrikkian Eopie-III, has been fitted with a crane to take care of the backbreaking labor of loading and unloading the slabs.
The bow of the skiff has a loading platform, which some cutters use as a platform to operate their peat saws from. Kif prefers to cut from ground level, not trusting the repulsor-counterweight on his saw to balance the heavy cutting tool
The Eopie-III skiff is powered by two clusters of off-the-shelf speeder bike engines - a cost saving measure appreciated on underdeveloped worlds, as one failing won't put the vehicle out of commission for weeks. A pair of large steering vanes hang off the stern, providing excellent maneuverability.
