AFFILIATION Haelos Star Yards, Denon Municipal Defense Fleet

Developed alongside the Vausi-class cruiser for the newly formed Denon Municipal Defense Fleet, the Barmaye cruiser is a common sight in the Denon system and the Iseno sector. Adapting the Chandrilan and Mon Cala design language of New Republic starships signifies a departure and rejection of Denon's prior alliance with the Galactic Empire, whose original Denonian artistry reinforces independence that Denon now enjoys.

The Barmaye also acts as consular envoys across the galaxy, as it is more speedy than the Vausi and is less armed, posing less of a threat to neutral and New Republic worlds. However, top secret HSY innovation guarantees a good fight from the Barmaye when the need arises, and not even its crew is aware of the full extent of its power

READY FOR TROUBLE

Haelos Star Yards were ready to defend themselves and their homeworld from whatever unresolved conflicts of the Galactic Civil War would have reached Denon long after its conclusion at the Battle of Jakku. Hundreds of Barmaye cruisers were quickly produced by the Kolme-3 and Neljä-4 orbital facilities before the signing of the Galactic Concordance, and with Denon's democratically decided direction towards independence, the New Republic allowed the Denon Municipal Defense Fleet to be formed.

HAELOS HIVEMIND?

Top secret HSY tech of advanced Droid systems are embedded in each individial DMDF vessel, from the Didomak, to the Barmaye, to the Vausi, allowing seamless communication between each individual craft, even across the Galaxy. Of those who are aware of this technology, the cynical speculate that that it is all linked to Haelos himself, who is able to take control of the entire fleet if the need arises - or for other nefarious motive.
