After two decades under the stagnation of imperial governance, the artists and engineers at Haelos Star Yards are looking to reclaim the pride of Denon through every avenue available.

As the Denon Municipal Defense Fleet was rapidly developed, the need for an interceptor-type starfighter was a clear priority, but one could be forgiven for assuming that the HSY development team was driven by competitive spirit alone.

Built to keep up with the standards set by the Tie Interceptor and groundbreaking RZ-1 A-Wing, the Cirro-2 traces it’s lineage back to the same place as its competitors, the republic V-Wing. But while the V-Wing's Imperial and Rebel successors pushed the design in an even more minimalist direction, HSY has tempered the concept, sacrificing bare essentialism and unmatched strengths for a more balanced design philosophy. The final starfighter reflects the engineering and artistry of Denon's finest minds.

Taking advantage of the DMDF’s position protecting a single world power and it’s trade routes, The Cirro-2 is designed without an unnecessary hyperdrive, allowing it to remain at the smallest end of combat starfighters while retaining a pilot friendly design.  Lightweight, highly maneuverable, and capable of easy landing and takeoff from almost anywhere, The Cirro-2 sits comfortably inside the cramped hangers of Denon’s dense cityscape and Vausi cruisers, ready to launch at a moments notice. 

The nimble HSY interceptor won’t be outperforming any of its competitors in a one to one duel, It has no need to. It stands as one component in a complete navy, ready to defend both Denon’s interests and its pride.
