"DIVERT ALL POWER TO THE REAR DEFLECTOR SHIELDS!" The captain of the Sora Torn had never been in such a dangerous situation, as they passed the Torpedo-sphere looming above Tyria, they just had to get out of range.

Part of him wished they had left the Nobility and the Princess back on the planet, this was way to risky!

As the shield slowly depleted, they got further and further away, everyone held their breath as a single blast hit the hull, and then there was silence. They had somehow escaped Tyria and the terrible bombardment, but it was a sorry comfort, the citizens of Tyria would still have to endure, while the Princess went to negotiate with the Protectorate.

Princess Farina held her composure, while she waited for the Sora Torn to leave the range of the communication jammers, she had to trust the Royal Flagship's integrity to the crew, she had another mission of dire importance. When the Protectorate Ambassador finally appeared before her, she thanked the moon in her mind before speaking.

"Ambassador Orja," she began, "Tyria is under siege, as the closest Protectorate Ambassador, I expect you will ensure the safety of the Tyrian people." The Ambassador smiled slyly, "Ah Your Royal Highness, this is why a local garrison would have been advantageous, as you know even the Triffians have accepted a strong Protectorate presence."

From the moment the Torpedo-sphere had entered Tyrian orbit, Farina knew that this would be the time for concessions. This would definitely hurt the trade with the Core Worlds, but she had no choice. "And for the protectorate's aid, we are willing to allow garrisons going forwards."

The Ambassador shook his head, "I have already spoken with my superiors, and that will not be enough to keep the pirate scourge at bay," he smiled apologetically, "we need to enroll the royal fleet in the Protectorate Navy." That was more than Farina had imagined, "I beg your pardon!?" She exclaimed, but Orja just kept going, "I am willing to bet your operational procedures predates the clone wars, with Protectorate oversight your Royal Fleet would be able to defend Tyria against aggressors in the future."

It was a chilling thought, Imperial Remnant Officers on Tyrian ships, "There is no way the Core Worlders will trade with Imperial Remnants." She said, keeping her voice steady and cool, Orja shrugged. "There are other customers than core worlders, and without the Protectorate, the Moths of Tyria will surely die from the Pirate Bombardments."

He was right, and Farina had no choice but to accept, "You should set course to Bannistar Station, from there the Protectorate can resettle you and your guests while we manage this problem you are having." As the Sora Torn set it's course towards Bannistar, Princess Farina feared what the future held for Tyria.
