Captain Thornhill, Commander of his beloved Quasar-Class Carrier has just exited hyperspace to arrive at his home planet, Kalarba. He has spend a substantial time of his career away from rebel threats and behind the safety of much larger Star Destroyers but now he finds himself as one of the bigger ships in the Kalarba System.
His purpose here; to bolster the Protectorates fleet around Kalarba and insure security to the vital HOSK station.

Each hangar can hold four mini-scale Tie-Fighters attached to the Tie-Fighter rack system and could also comfortably store another four on the hangars floor, with the possibility of bringing that number up to six if the circumstances required so.
With four hangers this means that the Quasars maximum carrying capacity is a staggering 40 TIEs!!

Love the hangars! The lights are appreciated, though I just personally would have preferred in a more muted shade. I made a quasar last yeah, and you really nailed the design elements much better. Certainly, the scale helps.
Very clean! I love the shaping. And the hangar interiors are a very nice touch. If I have one criticism, it is that a lot of the ship seems like blank, LBG gray tiling. I think some more greebling would have gone a long way to bring this ship up to the next level. The back half especially has awesome shapes, but almost no texture. But I don't want that to undercut my overall impression - this is an awesome ship!
This build has earned 18 XP!
@simulterious This was my first time experimenting with the lights and if I was to do it again, I would for sure tune them down a bit. Thanks, I tried my best to add as much texturing while also keeping the inner structure strong enough 🙂
@cyrusbuilds I totally agree with you about the lack of texturing, and unfortunately a lot of sections just had to be covered in big 6x6 or 4x4 plates due to the limited amount of inner space that had to be dedicated to the internal structure. Also I wanted the MOC to scale with the rest of my fleet, so I sadly couldn't increase the scale. So its just a sacrifice I had to make.
