Acquired on Dorin, the Corellian Star Shuttle went through heavy modifications. Where once imperial officers and connected oligarchs enjoyed fine dining and luxurious travel, a cantankerous enemy now awaits battle.

Unlike most shuttles of this size, the Sriluurian Spikehog took on a full hanger suited for smaller starfighters and atmospherics. Three Weequay pilots are currently stationed aboard the shuttle with their A-Wing fighters ready to scramble to action.

The shuttle's crew lives up to it's ships name as being the most surly, stubborn, and intolerant gang of fighters. Gen. Thrawb has collected the most imperial hating bastards from across the cartels, former Rebel forces, and religious fanatics to ever man a ship.

[build notes: I'll add an IG link in the comments with WIP shots once I get that uploaded.
The front and top do come off to show a cross-section of the ship, inspired by the DK series.
The ship is fully proportioned to the micro-scale/trophy size figures, based on the proportions of the Corellian Star Shuttle seen in TPM. Liberties were taken with what an updated/imperial version of that shuttle might look like after the imperial conquest.
The back hangar crew quarters and flight control station hold a large battery pack to light up the back 4 engines. They are lit up in the middle of the 2nd picture.
There is attachable landing gear but I chose not to shoot that because I didn't have a need for that type of shot.
This ship will be submitted as a Medium, Military ship, with the intention of efficiently filling 2/8 fleet spots with a strong entry. There are no plans at the moment to build out the A-Wings. It's intended that their microscale design be complementary to the shuttle only.]
This ship has been in the making since - well, honestly, I think since I joined the game 🤭
Seeing it finally completed and coming to life is just awesome.
It’s genuinely hard to highlight individual elements because the whole thing is a highlight: the overall silhouette hinting at a repurposed Old Republic design, the beautiful hull curvatures, the turrets, the engines, the Red Moon paint and color blocking, the wonderful hangar and interior, and the overall presentation.
In my humble opinion, this is the best ship of the season so far (and yes, I revisited all of them before saying that). The decisive factor for me is that it doesn’t just look great from the outside or showcase impressive techniques - it also includes an in‑scale interior based on the statuette size. I really enjoy this midi scale. It reminds me of the old Micro Machines ships from way back, which were such a joy.
The Spikehog? A masterpiece.
