Neimoidian arms dealer Udoo Mograt had arrived to Tatooine late evening, planning to complete his transaction with the Pykes swiftly and unseen so as to to get off the sandswept hellhole before the two suns could touch his brow.

Fate intervened however when the armoured cargo speeder he had bought to transport his goods to the Pyke den on  Mos Algo was impounded at the spaceport by two coldblooded thugs. In exchange for their protection and release of his vehicle they would require a cut of whatever deal they had sniffed out.

Udoo's lieutenant Lok Tey had advised that flamboyant dress in the outer rim was sure to draw such unwanted attention and that whilst they had the means to dispatch these leeches, local muscle may prove helpful in concluding this deal swiftly.

So it was that they arrived upon Mos Algo, escorted by their extorters, the Trandoshan Shak-Tarrr and his Saurian associate Don-Essk to meet the representatives of the Pyke syndicate, thankful of the back up that would have otherwise left them outnumbered.

The Pyke capo Lax L'lagul acknowledged Shakk-Tarr with a slight not as the reptile leapt down from the cargo speeder. Lok Tey wondered if they were paying protection to a creature who had already been hired to deliver them. Udoo either missed the tell or was bluffing his confidence as he approached the waiting gang of Pykes.

Don-Essk manned a heavy blaster he had rigged to the flatbed, aiming at a Pyke sniper on the roof, this had to look convincing if we are going to get paid twice, he let out a guttural snarl that alarmed all but his colleague.

A water farmer attending to a moisture vaporator immediately sought an escape route from the rising tension.

Pykes twitched in the heat, eager to return to the cool of the cantina they had made their base.

In addition to the spice Udoo had agreed to run for the Pykes they had made an extra order - a sample unit sentry destroyer droid to assist in warding off those who would interfere in their enterprise.

Unloading the cargo Lok Tey left the robot loosely shackled, slyly removing the restraining bolt. Things had not gone south yet but it was always handy to have a droideka on hand should negotiations be cut short....

Nice scene - framing the build with walls on two sides is a great technique for making a space for some action and storytelling. Looking forward to seeing more, and how you improve over time. 🙂

Great first build and I really enjoyed the accompanying story! The character's are colorful and personable, and I really enjoyed the setup for the deal. Like Bjorn said, I'm looking forward to what you bring to the table next!
