the Centurion, YTM 103

The YT-Mini 103, or YT-Ms, were part of the Corellian Engineering Corporation’s line of personal light freighters. Following the success of the YT series, the CEC looked into capitalizing on their line of light freighters, creating the Mini series. These ships were smaller, faster and more affordable. But, what they gained in speed, they lost in storage, these ships could not hold as much as their normal counterparts. Instead they were made for transporting smaller loads or even troops, if portable barracks were hauled in the place of cargo. Most ships were equipped with enough weaponry to defend themselves against most threats. This 103 featured frontal laser cannons alongside the mandibles and rotating blaster cannons along the sides.

The 103 was designed with similar shaping to the YT-1300, earning its name. Much like the infamous 1300, the 103 was a preference for many of the smugglers across the galaxy. This particular ship, the Centurion, was piloted by the Rodian smuggler, Sposh. He was part of a smuggling group known as Rim Runners, which had recently been acquiesced by the Great Armada, officially becoming pirates.
