Int. Bryx Security Bureau HQ (The Lodge) - Night

Trask Korr shut the metal gate behind him as he descended into the Operations Room below. He had been up making the final preparations for his mission to The Wheel. Radar screens flashed and alarms beeped while the clerks scurried around like well trained brush-mice. Dagan Glass was busy planning the Sriluur Operation. Korr approached the holo-table and joined the conversation.

Cpt. Glass: “Has our contact in the garrison managed to obtain schematics to the Governor’s palace yet?”

Clerk Tille: “Not yet. His next check in is tomorrow night.”

Cpt. Glass: “Very well, we’ll go in without it. There’s still much to do before those plans become pertinent.”

Chief Haren: “Our scouts on Nwarcol Point Starport have reported an increasing number of flights departing for Sriluur that have no official record on the station’s flight logs.”

Cpt. Glass: “It definitely looks like Black Sun are gearing up for an assault.”

Cpt. Korr: “How do you figure?”

Chief Haren: “We have reason to believe Nwarcol Point is under the thumb of the Black Sun Vigo, Sprax. Furthermore, they’ve been concealing cargo shipments to Sriluur for the past month. This doesn’t fit with the pattern of their black market activities along the Sisar Run whatsoever.”

Cpt. Korr: “Ssso you think it’s military equipment?”

Chief Haren: “It would appear so.”

Cpt. Glass: “All the more reason to get our own weapon shipments into the hands of the Weequay ASAP. If they rise up without our help, we risk cutting ourselves out of the political conversation entirely.”

Clerk Vanda: “Should we not approach the Vigo directly? If what Chief Haren says is true, Sprax will have a much easier time getting the cargo planetside than we will.”

Chief Haren: “And let him take all the credit?”

Cpt. Glass: “No…Let’s hedge our bets for now. If the uprising fails we can wash our hands of it and stay off the Empire’s radar. If it succeeds, we’ll make sure the Weequay remember who aided them in their time of need.”
