[K4 - Entralla - PA] The Unforeseen strike of the Hesitant Hand

The Pentastar Alignment, while not calling itself "Empire", can never truly be dissociated from where it came from. For the average citizen, a name has changed, and the uniforms have become a smidge more colourful (though only a smidge), but imps are still imps. What happens then, when these imps start to lift previously held restrictions - admitting non-humans into their stormtrooper corps, lessening the constant military patrols and other shows of force? On some, it achieves the intended effect of lessening the urge to rebel. On others, it incites that very urge by giving the illusion that the powers that be are lax, and won't come with retribution. This illusion can quickly become fatal.

On benduday of the fifth week of the fifth month of 5 ABY, on the way out of NovaCo Engineering complex TG2, a repulsorlift transport veered off from its course through a Pentastar Alignment checkpoint and pinned one of the guards, instantly crushing his chest cavity. Appearing like an accident, the other guards closed to investigate when the whole checkpoint went up in flames. The transport had been filled with explosives. Soon, the other outposts consitituting the Alignment's limited presence in the area were also attacked and overcome, and for a few hours, complex TG2 fell into chaos. Then the Shadow company arrived.

12 Elite AT-ATs landed in the middle of the complex, and the population collectively held their breath. Landing ground troops at least meant the whole city wouldn't be punished, but who knew where the powerful lasers of the terror walkers might decide to point? The jet-black Armored Transports started moving, painfully slowly, as if wanting to draw out the suspense for as long as possible. One leg moving, then another, then another, then another. They finally came to a halt in front of the small administrative office, and within a minute the whole building was reduced to rubble. Hours later, a few shuttles arrived with various administrators. From now on, Complex TG2 would be under direct Alignment authority.
