Adravar the Agile and Karoh XXVIII

Many jockeys showing up to the Canto-Key Derby share a bond their very mounts, harder than durasteel. For Adravar, a Delrakki rodeo athlete from Lucazec, the situation was quite the opposite. His mount, a lucazecian hopping bull, was a species with remarkably short lifespan. But Adravar turned this into advantage - each generation being faster and more durable than previous one. His rodeo background shows in everything, even in the preference for the suction pad stilts over a saddle. As he puts it, hos rodeo background is the only reason other jockeys have a chance of winning.

Llan Decci and Vido

Llan Decci used to be a miner in the caves of his Wild Space homeworld of Palliduva. The Palliduvan cave howlers, which he frequently encountered, are known for the howling sounds, which can be heard from hundreds of kilometers within the cave systems they dwell in. Llan was, however, the first to realize that their extreme velocity and agility, which let's them cover the vast underground distances in search of scarce food, can be made use of in the Derby business. For his mount Vido, lack of sight blind eyes is not a problem - a result of the years of practice in complete darkness.
