Due to the most serious nature of their activities, leaders, bodyguards, and droids of the CLA find pleasures in betting their bountiful wealth (or oftentimes lack thereof) on games of chance and logic. Engineers, the lot of them being, in addition to their several keen eyes, allow them benefits in both technological and practical know-how. They are not often seen on the losing end of a bet. Of course, all bets are safe when you believe in the Force and its protection. No matter how the results shall swing, the CLA will react with jovial spirits and honorability.

Vyraekik, one of the administrative decision makers among the CLA ranks, seeks the thrill of winning and losing equally. Every failed design, every lost credit, is either a learning experience or a chance at reflection. Failure is to be used as a catalyst for future success. Tweaking the final design, the final decision, is a crucial and often reoccurring practice.

Jykran may seem like an average CLA compatriot, but this could not be further from the case. He is not only an ace with a blaster, but also a master of the cards, to most assuredly make up for his lack of robotic understanding. He is always on target, and his accuracy in calling bluffs and blasting bandits is truly spectacular, well, if Vyraekik is to believed, anyway.

H1-R01 is Vyraekik's personal assistant when it comes to the less-than-noble practices of the galaxy. Much like the rest of the droids of the CLA, H1-R01 is fully independent, run by a processing system muddled in code errors. This gives him the gift of personality, which, unfortunately for law enforcement, has become quite spendthrift. His soul, as the CLA most closely believes, is a blessing by the Force, and is therefore cherished. He is given pocket credits by Vyraekik at the start of every outing, but more often than not, he returns with more than he was originally provided.
