Few members of the Wanderers of the Whills were likely to be inclined to, let alone be able to afford to, participate in the Canto Royale. But an old-money philanthropist, an emancipated bookie, and a scoundrel found themselves on the same transport from Codia to Cantonica.

Vizier Zep Slount hails from a distinguished and ancient line of Duros nobility. After spending much of his youth engaged in flagrant hedonism, a near-death experience and, so he claims, a Force-vision have led him to turn his immense wealth to philanthropic ends. Even so, with the prospects of so many credits on the line, his old Epicurean tastes may have resurfaced... But of course, all proceeds to the refugees, right? "It's only pocket credits after all!"

G4M-BLR was programmed as a bookie-droid, constantly calculating the odds for old pod races, Hutt casinos, and gladiatorial contests. After being freed by a Naboo smuggler, it has turned its prodigious computing ability to the service of the Wanderers. The opportunity to win fabulous amounts of credits and influence for the WW was enough to convince it to come out of retirement. And the chance to stick it to its old masters, beating them at their own game? Well, that's just the icing on the cake. "The odds of me winning are... certain!"

No one with the Whills is quite sure why Crast Yelsin has been hanging around. They're also not sure he's even part of the organization, but he always seems to be around. Where did he come from? What are his intentions? Apart from trying, and failing, to flirt with everything that moves, he doesn't seem to do much. Seriously, who is this guy and why is he here? "I'll take your credits AND your girl!"
