Though BZ4-a could often be seen in the pits of fighters, this Mechanical Menace was a pirate at heart, or core. A custom built droid, BZ4 was designed for combat. Equipped with two processing units, BZ4 was a horrifying unification of an Astromech, IG unit, and a custom body. The two brains of the Astromech and IG unit could work together simultaneously and smoothly, but more often than not, they were prone to butting heads, figuratively and literally.

For tactical purposes, BZ4 was equipped with a heavy cannon over its left shoulder and a reinforced right arm. Equipment they often utilized in both their pirating activities and in the pits. The cannon could be both manually and automatically controlled. Often though, the Astromech liked to manually aim the weapon, enjoying the tactile sensation and power it offered. Its three legs provided a dynamic form of movement and a great sense of balance.

By nature of its chimeric creation, BZ4 often underwent modifications and changes throughout its system and body. As it gained more experience and sentience, it began to think for itself. Making the modifications it deemed best for them and rarely letting others work on them. In the ring, the combination of Astromech tactics and assassin droid combat prowess proved to be an incredible combo. Making BZ4 a very dangerous opponent.
