[Tournament - The Boonta Gauntlet - Mechanic Menace] RT-60C

Originally starting life as a simple astromech, R-60 would find itself badly damaged during an industrial accident on Terminus. It's still intact head would them be picked up by a pair of mechanics from the Dilary Brotherhood who had been tasked with making a lifting droid for the cargo docks. By the time the Ashlon Empire arrived on Terminus the two mechanics had a working frame for the droid but new doubts about the survival of the Brotherhood. Taking what they had finished of the droid with them they left the Brotherhood and searched for a way to strike it rich. They quickly landed one converting the droid into a combatant for the fighting pits. By reinforcing the droids already durable joints and attaching strong durasteel armor, the two mechanics finally had something they could compete with. They renamed the droid RT-60C, and it would rapidly come to dominate droid fighting on terminus through its brute force. Hearing of the Boonta Gauntlet quickly approaching the mechanics once again went to work, adding new targeting and fighting systems to the droid as well as increasing its power supply and mobility. Equipped with a custom built electrostaff and blaster, it will be a strong contender in the tournament.
