Episode II: The Fringe Wars

In the blind eye of the Core, at the fringes of the galaxy, the unrest in the Outer Rim has reached its boiling point.

Distress calls announce the terror of war.

Four star systems have come under attack by invaders demanding total surrender. Four different systems, four different aggressors. Open warfare burns across each planet, but the invaders use all available tools to achieve domination: subterfuge, coercion, and bribery. The destruction is only a taste of what will happen should each planet refuse.

Distress calls go out to every corner of the galaxy, pleas for aid to anyone listening. The fate of these worlds hangs by a thread – will the galaxy’s factions intervene to protect these worlds, or leverage the chaos to take control?

Czerka enforcers assaulting citizens of Bakura
Zann criminals evicting a family on Dantooine
Harad’s remnant roaming the streets on Jabiim

Systems

The four invaded systems are as follows.

Bakura (G16) — The Czerka Corporation

The amoral Czerka Corporation is blockading peaceful Bakura with its Pickett Fleet and filling its cities with corporate enforcers, holding the world hostage until it surrenders ownership to the company.

Dantooine (L4) — The Zann Consortium

The well-armed criminal fleets of the Zann Consortium and its fearsome defilers are scorching the farms of the prairie planet, demanding tribute from its people.

Jabiim (S7) — The Harad Remnant

Moff Bacchus Harad’s remnant, the Harad Totality, is besieging the muddy world, creating a hellish wasteland of trench warfare under the planet’s electrical storms, all for the ore deposits at its center.

Rishi (S15) — The Scions of Nihil

Vicious marauders and pirates are raiding, burning, and looting the lush tropical trade planet and sending off enslaved locals and materials on their dark gaolships.

Build Categories

Category B

Air and Space superiority is key to victory. The blockades keep necessary supplies from reaching the planet’s citizens. Depict your Faction’s fleets engaging the enemy. Depict at least two starships; one from your faction and one from the Invader. Anything else, including scale, is up to the builder.

Category C

In times of war, nothing is more important than strong leadership. Depict the command bridge of one of your Factions’ capital ships.
