Episode III: Hunt for the Treasure of the Hutts

The death of Jabba the Hutt left a power vacuum that the remaining Hutt clans are desperate to fill. Once the undisputed masters of the underworld, the Hutts now struggle to maintain their dominance as rival syndicates close in. To reclaim their position, they need strong allies—and to separate the powerful from the expendable, they have issued a challenge: whoever uncovers Jabba’s lost treasure will earn their favor, unimaginable wealth, and a place among the new ruling elite.

But the call has drawn more than just outlaws. Agents of the New Republic move in the shadows, to observe Hutt activity and prevent another galactic crime empire from rising. Imperial remnants see an opportunity to rekindle old alliances and restore their grip on the Outer Rim. Corporate interests—always hungry for new markets and lucrative deals—quietly dispatch their own operatives, hoping to secure influence over the future of the galactic underworld. As treasure hunters, spies, and warlords converge on the hunt, the race for Jabba’s lost hoard is no longer just a battle for riches—it is a struggle for power that will shape the galaxy for decades to come.

Welcome to Episode III: The Hunt for the Treasure of the Hutts, the first episode of the Shadow War arc. This episode will take the Factions to the heart of Hutt space in search of the lost treasure vaults of the mighty Jabba the Hutt, to sway the favor of the Hutts, or claim power and riches for themselves.

Episode Rules:

  • Build your treasure hunting team approaching the treasure.
  • Choose a combination of Location + Encounter (e.g. B’omarr Monastery on Teth + Breaking into an ancient Major Domo’s vault).
  • Include your chosen combination in your entry title (e.g. [2A], [9B], [4C] etc.)
  • Only correct combinations are eligible to win the episode – you have to guess which one is correct.
  • If multiple entries have the correct combination, the winner is the entry with the highest score.
  • Average XP earned per entry, by each faction in this Episode will carry over and give the faction an edge in the next episode of the Shadow War (quality matters).
  • All entries can earn RP or IP if they meet the specific requirements.
    • The Hutts offer to transport all RP earned to each factions capital against a 50% cut, after the end of the episode.
  • The Episode III: Hunt for the Treasure of the Hutts runs from April 1st until April 30th.

Challenge Location

Nar Kreeta [S10]

Nar Kreeta is a scorching desert world, where jagged canyons and sunbaked wastelands stretch beneath an unrelenting twin-sun sky. Its surface is a harsh expanse of cracked earth, sprawling dune seas, and deep caverns where smugglers and slavers carve out their hidden lairs.

You can build in one of the following locations:

1. Wasteland ruins
2. Forgotten dungeons
3. Ancient Hutt Palace

Teth [U12]

Teth is a mist-shrouded jungle world, where towering cliffs and winding rivers carve through dense, overgrown rainforests. Its humid air is thick with the calls of unseen creatures, while ancient temples and hidden fortresses cling to the sheer mountainsides.

You can build in one of the following locations:

4. B’omarr Monastery
5. Exotic Jungle
6. Mysterious catacombs

Ylesia [T12]

Ylesia is a humid, storm-laden world, where endless rainforests and sweltering bogs stretch beneath thick, turbulent skies. Its terrain is dominated by steaming jungles, treacherous marshlands, and towering cliffs that rise from mist-choked valleys.

You can build in one of the following locations:

7. The Jungle
8. Beach caverns
9. Ancient ruins

Challenge Encounter

You can build one of the following encounters:

A. Dramatic Encounter

A climactic challenge close to the goal (e.g., a giant trap springing to life, an ambush by enemy pirates or syndicates, an ancient guardian droid).

B. Race to the Treasure

Unique and thematic vehicles (e.g., repurposed pirate skiffs, heavily modified speeders, underground drill machines).

C. Solving the Riddle

Unique ways of uncovering the clue (e.g., decoding ancient carvings, breaking into an ancient Major Domo’s vault, solving an enigmatic riddle).

Prizes

  • The winning faction of the Episode wins the Galactic Renown achievement worth 3 medals.
  • Treasure Hunter Badge: All builders earning 20+ XP in a single entry earns the treasure hunter badge, the Masthead of Xim the Despot
  • The generous Hutts rewards the following:
    • The build earning the highest score receives a x2 bonus
    • One random build entry is rewarded a x1.5 bonus
  • Wild Card: All players who submit one or more entries earning 10+ XP, are eligible for the lottery for a large and a medium LEGO set.
