Episode V: The Gyndine Crisis

CRISIS ON GYNDINE! THE GALACTIC CONCORDANCE HAS BEEN BROKEN!

In their push for freedom, the people of Gyndine clash in the capital’s streets with Imperial forces. But their governor, Bin Essada, clings to power, secretly backed by other Imperial warlords.

In a desperate bid to hold off the New Republic, Essada deliberately violated the Galactic Concordance, deploying Stormtroopers to the neighboring agriworld of Reytha, holding the food supply of the Expansion Region as a political bargaining chip.

Meanwhile, a darker thread emerges: Rhydonium – a highly flammable and poisonous substance from the volcanic world of Sarapin – is smuggled to Reytha en masse by the mysterious wirepullers behind the escalation. In a ruthless plan, the Imperials aim to turn Reytha into a powder-keg, burning the breadbasket of the region, leaving nothing but ashes.

With the Galaxy’s attention turning to the occupied agriworld, the Imperial Remnant strives to recover the real treasure – the hidden Coaxium depot beneath the seaside docks on Gyndine. The freedom fighters in the streets – and governor Essada – are a mere distraction and expendable in the plans to return the Empire to former glory.

With the conflict heating up on the planets of Sarapin, Reytha, and Gyndine, the NEW REPUBLIC and the IMPERIAL REMNANTS must choose carefully where and how to employ their dwindling forces.

Will the New Republic foil the Rhydonium conspiracy, save Reytha and confiscate the Coaxium cache on Gyndine? Or will the Imperial Remnant leave scorched earth, escape with the Coaxium, and prepare for its inevitable return?

The fate of the sector lies in your hands.
