History

After the devastating defeat at the battle of Jakku, the Empire was no more. Grand Admiral Ashlon has seen the flaws of the Empire which led to it’s eventual downfall. Enough of his men and friends have been killed in this conflict because of the incompetency of imperial command.

Being a Grand Admiral himself allowed him to strategize and thereby avoid complete annihilation at the battle of Jakku, he lost his fleet however his personal destroyer Vyserion, was left untouched. He did send his army to aid in the battle however he soon realized that he sent them to their death. 

After having landed on Jakku he set up a rendezvous point near one of the crashed destroyers, for any remaining imperial survivors to gather with him. He waited for a long time, while waiting he had the perfect opportunity to think of what’s next. Should he gather his troops and go into hiding? 

No, what kind of leader would make that decision, apart from probably every other surviving imperial admiral out there? 

No, Ashlon wanted to return Empire to it’s former glory, he certainly did not have any resources of his own to do that however seeking out surviving members of The Circle of Twelve would make the whole plan easier. After all his troops have reached the rendezvous, Ashlon saw them in complete defeat, he knew the wounded needed rest and their spirit was crushed. He climbed up a small rubble hill and announced:

“We may have lost today, the Empire may have lost today, but in it’s destruction there is also birth, the birth of a new Empire, Ashlon Empire! I have served with some of you for years, and I could not have asked for better soldiers, it hurts to see you all crumbled like this. Which is why we will go back to my ship, recover from our injuries suffered at this massacre, and I promise you, I promise you all that I will lead you all to victory, because that is what I was trained to do my whole life! Will you serve me once more brothers? Will you serve the Ashlon Empire?”
