DESCRIPTION

During the reign of the Galactic Empire, various corporations in the Velcar Free Commerce Zone thrived with their contracts with the resource-hungry Imperial war machine. With its demise, these companies found themselves lacking their biggest customer. Into this void stepped the equally desperate and battered Imperial Remnant led by the Moff Ardus Kaine. Kaine’s remnant, lacking both ships and manpower, found the perfect set of partners in the orphaned corporations. Together, these powers would found a new Empire centered in the all-important Velcar Commerce Zone. This Empire, the new PENTASTAR ALIGNMENT, sought to bring order and security to a region desperately in need of it.

OPERATION

The Alignment is split into two main branches: Order and Enforcement. Order contains both the legal arm of the Alignment as well as its Intelligence and Special Forces divisions. Enforcement is the main military branch of the Alignment, consisting largely of the Pentastar Patrol and other armed forces units.

Though an Imperial Faction, the Alignment is not an aggressive Faction. Our Isolationism keeps us out of the New Republic’s scopes, with which we have an uneasy truce. However, this does not mean we are without threat. Dastardly pirates, rebel extremists, and rebellious corporations all present a real danger to the Alignment’s tenuous early existence.
