History: The Long Shadow is a lifeless region of space at the farthest edge of the galaxy in the distant Outer Rim Territories, home to only a supermassive black hole rumored by spacers that had seen it to be slowly consuming the galaxy. Orbiting the black hole is one of the Empire's most secretive research station, Delta-9, conducting experiments of various nature. It's remote position allowed it to remain hidden under prying eyes, secret even to most ISB members, but now the Ashlon Empire collaborates with the station to research new life forms and strange artifacts. Navigating the Long Shadow requires a special sensor computer, hyperdrive and radiation shielding.
