He stuck out like a sore thumb. After all, his battered transport pod was a far cry from the purpose built racing machines it was up against. He didn't give them a name, he wasn't sticking around long enough for it to matter. He was here for his target, nothing more. Crossing the finish line would just be a bonus to his primary mission. They called him lefty, on account of the arm, the only thing that seemed new or pristine about him or his ship. The blaster at his side quashed any interest in further prying, and he seemed disinterested in any further divulgence.

I think there is a lot of good techniques here to achieve so many different angles. I don't even know what to call that shape, but you really made a unique ship. It did feel a little off from the prompt, however. I think the way you really could have improved this build is color blocking. It kind of feels like you used whatever color parts you had on hand - there isn't a lot of consistency in part or color and it feels haphazard. Presentation could have also been improved a lot. Even just using a solid background or editing a blank background would have helped quite a bit.

@CyrusBuilds I read your critique on my build, and I agree with you on that I could have provided a better presentation, and that the build itself could have been more aligned with the prompt. I do somewhat disagree with the assertion that there isn't much consistency with the colors since I almost entirely stuck with the main colors of grey, dark grey, and dark red. I could have made it more symmetrical, but I wanted to go for something where it looked like it might have once been fully red, but after years of use many panels have been replaced, along with some of the paint peeling off. Something that had been retrofitted over time. I'd get it more if I had used all sorts of colors for the build instead of the majority of greys and dark red Also! please don't take this as me being butthurt or anything, these are just my thoughts on my work based on what feedback you have given me. Also, also! Thank you for taking the time to write up some feedback about my build!

While that is the point in the story, the ship really doesn't look like a racer. It's a fine design, the gaps are competently filled and the minifgure is honestly gorgeous. For this event, I do think it should have been something more appropriate in design. A stand and more polished presentation would have also gone a long way to immerse the viewer in the spirit of the Prix.

I actually like how clunky and different it is from the others. I think it could use a third accent color, maybe a few spots of blue or yellow. Some wires and things along the outside could add a splash of different texture, too. The photos let it down a little, but that's always the toughest part. Good work!
